Traceable Shutter

Yesterday I received in the mail my Square credit card reader, and I just made my first sale with it!

The card reader is a small device that can plug into the headphone/microphone jack of my Droid phone. When a credit card is swiped, the information is sent to the Square app on my phone in an audio signal, and then transmitted to Square’s servers to communicate with the payment networks for authentication.

Okay, nerdy talk aside, this is definitely something I’m bringing with me at all times and will make life so easy for my clients and me.
