Visting 9 eateries in 2 days in Portland

I’m not joking in the title, we literally ate our way through Portland!

Day 1:

• Lardo
• The Sugar Cube
• Pok Pok Noi
• Papa Haydn

Day 2:

• Waffle Window
• Viking Soul Food
• Cacao Drinking Chocolate
• Voodoo Doughnut
• Baan Thai Restaurant

[The pork belly and beef burger was amazing at Lardo! There are cool little details in the restaurant too.]

[Inside Pok Pok Noi. We stuffed our faces with their famous chicken wings. Gotta try the spicy one!]

[Boccone Dolce was the most unique dessert at Papa Haydn, though I loved everything we got, including the spicy chocolate ice cream and the berry cobbler.

[We started Day 2 at the Waffle Window. The savory flavors are unexpected… Spicy Bacon Cheddar Jalapeno Waffle?!?! Think of them as omelettes but substitute the eggs.]

[Viking Soul Food serves lefses, basically thin potato-based crêpes. Loved the lefse with pork & beef meatballs, with a side of pickled herring!]

[The thick drinking chocolate at Cacao Drinking Chocolate was so decadent!]

[No visit to Portland should be without Voodoo Doughnut.]

I didn’t take any photos inside Baan Thai, but it doesn’t mean it wasn’t worth going!! It was a lovely down-home little Thai restaurant… good service and good for groups!
