In 8 days, I’ll be embarking on my first trip to Europe since becoming an adult.<\/h3>\n

Tony and I will start off in a small French town, La Salle, with a volunteering opportunity through Bay Area non-profit Sprouts Cooking Club<\/a>. I’ll contribute my photography and videography skills to document the culinary immersion trip, while he’ll be a counsellor to work with the kids and their families!<\/p>\n

\nI’ll spare you the details as I’ll be writing more to update. But basically, it seems that our schedule with Sprouts will evolve around food :)\n<\/p>\n

As a child, I was lucky to have visited many foreign places with my family, but my perspective was much different then. First, I was much shorter… haha!<\/p>\n

I’ve since shaped my own style and focus when I’m traveling. I love experiencing the authentic, local lifestyle: the cuisine, fashion, architecture, habits… Of course, sometimes you just gotta do the touristy stuff, but I try to seek out places and activities that are less explored by travelers.<\/p>\n
