Headshot Portraits • Jesse Dhillon • Alameda
I’ve known Jesse for years since our Berkeley days, but because we hang out in different circles (him as the director of engineering at Greylock Partners and myself as a biologist-turned-photographer), we hadn’t met up in a while. It was exciting to see him again and catch up while we worked on his headshots!
When asked where he would like his on-location photoshoot, Jesse immediately chose his stomping grounds in Alameda. We drove and walked around the Alameda Naval Air Station, where there was a great variety of textural structures we could photograph with.
The whole time we just chatted about his recent projects, his dogs Bagel and Tiger, and even his experience as a model in his younger days! It’s most important that my clients feel at ease to show a natural, open expression in their photographs, and I think we achieved that at this portrait session!
