Clockenflap Photography for MISSBISH
This year I returned to Clockenflap to photograph the Hong Kong music and arts festival for MISSBISH. The online magazine focuses on strong, female-driven content and it was great to contribute visuals to them after a previous photography feature!
From the line-up, I was most excited about Feist, whose delicate voice and improvisations always inspire me. It was thrilling to finally able to see her live performance.
Despite the nonstop rain on Saturday evening, the festival-goers seemed undeterred to enjoy the music and art that Clockenflap had to offer. Of course, it helped that spots like the YourMum stage were covered, so music lovers could continue to rock out.
Here are some highlights as part of the MISSBISH coverage, including performances by Massive Attack, MØ, Stormzy, Cashmere Cat, Bob Moses, and Kid Ink. The location in the heart of Hong Kong at Central Harbourfront also provided a fantastic backdrop! I recall so many artists making a comment about the stunning Hong Kong skyline… and how we were missing out by having to face them, haha!
