Event Snapshots // Melissa Guzy

Having worked previously with Melissa Guzy and her team at Arbor Ventures, I was commissioned by her to capture her at RISE Conference 2017 as she chatted with Stripe co-founder John Collison.

As the opening event of the tech startup conference, it was a quick 20-minute chat between Melissa and John about the future of Stripe, and how the payment processing service would approach the Asia market.

The focus on this event photography assignment was to catch candid, natural moments of Melissa during this short talk. These images would be used on social media channels for Arbor Ventures, so I photographed a variety of wider shots of the stage area, as well as close-ups of Melissa at key moments. The objective was to catch her at the right moment, showing an engaging discussion as well as the laughters in between.
