Event Photography // Peroni at Sevva

A group of executives from multinational beverage company SABMiller were visiting Hong Kong, and one of the key events was held at Sevva in Central, with Peroni as the featured beverage.

The focus for me as the event photographer was to capture candid snapshots of the event guests and the key beverage in use. It was a casual event with a cocktail reception on the terrace, followed by dinner indoors. Sevva was completely redecorated for the event’s purpose, complete with campaign artwork and furniture that matched Peroni’s branding.

This was an event that I truly enjoyed shooting, as I was encouraged to catch candid moments to portray the general feeling of the event. To me, event photography is about documenting the true authentic story, and the best images come when I could be a fly on the wall, observing through my camera.
