Location: Alassio, Mid-Levels, Hong Kong

I was commissioned by interior design studio MADesign Studio to photograph a residential flat. The flat was inside a luxury apartment building and design work was done for the living and dining areas, the master bedroom, and the second bedroom used as a study.

The interior design showed a great mix of textures carefully selected by the MADesign team, such as the textured blue wallpaper in the living room, the patterned entry wall, and the finishings of the dining room cabinets. The home owner also added his own personality to the space with a collection of small plants, design and architecture books, and colorful decorative items.

During the photoshoot, we focused on highlighting the special features in the home and conveying a sense of natural coziness. The rooms all have a different feeling, with the study as the most calm space in its muted palette. I also loved the brushed metal texture on the desk drawers!

The images here were the final selected interior photographs for the designers to display on their portfolio, social media, and press releases. The design and photography were selected for a feature in Hong Kong interior magazine Interior Beauté 雅舍.
