Maternity Portraits // Joy & Brian

We were so blessed that day during Joy and Brian’s maternity session! The city was originally covered in a heavy fog when we arrived at Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park, and the skies eventually opened up and gave us some gorgeous, warm light.

The whole idea of this session was to keep things simple and fun. So we first strolled around the park by the harbor; Sun Yat Sen park, though busy on weekends, really provided a lot of different textures for the maternity photoshoot. The magic of photography can make a crowded park look completely deserted just with the help of a little creativity and patience.

We then went back to their place for some pregnant belly photos before we went up on the roof top for the golden hour light. (Sorry, I won’t be sharing the bare belly photographs here…)

I can’t wait to meet the little one!
