For company headshots with Arbor Ventures, I photographed its new team members in a business casual look over a sleek, modern backdrop. We had set up a mini studio in a meeting room in the office, which made it easy for each individual to sit for their business portraits.

As I had photographed the company previously, we made sure the backgrounds had a consistent look throughout the team.

In general with larger teams and corporate headshots, I would suggest having the photoshoot done in the office. If available, characteristics of the office could be included in the background, as a way to convey the company culture in each portrait. Besides, who doesn’t enjoy having the convenience of having their portrait taken just down the hall?

During the shoot, I would always chat with each individual to help bring out their natural confidence and expression. It was great fun getting to know Stephanie, Rahul, Ari and Evelyn, and a pleasure working with Arbor Ventures again!
